Clicked 4star. Was looking for a 5 star
This was my first meet with Dr “R”. ( as staff and himself ) said was easier to say But I made sure I said his complete name . The nurse staff was great. But Dr R. Explained everything clearly. And explained my personal Dr ( although great) isn’t a specialist ( not his words. But mine) . He changed my prescriptions and I asked what should I do with those I already had.Dr R.explained. Changing the dosage. Keep what you. And use less of this and double up on another . The change and the addition prescription my personal Dr added earlier will put me on a very healthy path. Change to him if you’re not 1000%. Comfortable with your Dr. Take on the day. Live long .

Excellent Doctor and Staff
Dr. Rampurwala is an excellent doctor and a compassionate and caring person. If you need a cardiologist I highly recommend him. The office staff there is also top notch - very friendly and thorough.

Dr. Rampurwala
My first appointment was cancelled due to an emergency at a hospital - understandable. My next initial appointment he arrived 45 minutes late and did not even apologize when he came in to see me. He was extremely rushed and I was not able to get all my questions asked before he was heading for the door so I called the nurse later to ask one of the questions. He gave me no new information - thankfully I went to a different electrophysiologist cardiologist the week before and received very helpful information re: my new cardiac arrhythmia following Covid episode. I will not go back to see him and will not recommend him.

On top of things
Dr R really takes an interest in YOU. I recently transferred my cardiology care from a local cardiologist whose interest just seemed to be superficial to Dr.. R., and am totally pleased to date. His office staff is also right on top of things. Dr. R is an independent practicioner, so you do not deal with some corporate office way off somewhere. When you call his office, you talk to his staff!!!

Pre-surgical checkup
I was able to get appointment quickly on short notice for pre-surgical procedure. Anesthesiologist required Dr. Rampurwala’s ok. I appreciated that office personnel and medical personnel and doctor were able to accommodate me during Holiday week.

One of the good ones.
Dr. R is an excellent cardiologist. He's patient, understanding, knowledgeable, and helpful. The nursing staff is friendly and does their best to be accommodating. The office is always clean and tidy, and if you're looking for a good cardiologist with a good nursing staff, try out Dr. R with Metro Heart and Vascular.
