Dr. Abbas Asgerally, MD

I’ve had 2 appointments with Dr. Asgerally regarding back, leg pain and burning and numbness in foot. Our conversation was succinct. I didn’t try to tell him my life’s story and he asked a million pertinent questions to drill down in the source of my pain. He spent 40 minutes with me as a new patient. Gave me treatment options. Next appointment was for epidural injections. Asked multiple times how I was feeling. If you’re wanting a touchy feely clinician who will give long term opiates, I’m not sure he is your guy. But if you are looking for a great clinician to investigate and dial down on source of your pain and really earn his title of “Interventional Pain Specialist” He is the man!!

Doctor does not listen weighted months and refused a pain contract with my actual primary dr. I have multiple issues and in pain every day and every night and I walked out of that place with nothing nothing to help me until the testing of numb needles in my back in about 3 weeks was offered Gabapentin when if that's what I needed my primary and I have already tried multiple times waste of time doctor should not be practicing at that location

Doesn't listen, you're in pain? so what! Wait 2-3 months maybe we can get you in for an injection... Too bad you have to wait in agony... Doesn't help with immediate pain relief

Not very happy I don't like to feel like a number and being told I have other patients waiting when I only spent probably 10 minutes if even that. I hope he gets better on being more kind and caring.
