Long wait, short visit
I waited over an hour to talk to the doctor for less than five minutes. Definitely feels as though the biggest concern is money rather than the patient.

Wouldn't go again
The wait in the lobby takes longer than the actual visit. Everything felt rushed and barely listened too. Wasn't too welcoming of an environment.

Knowledgeable and manages integrated care well
Dr. Yon has been excellent with his care of my health over the last few years. I was diagnosed with cancer and have multiple complications. This lead to many specialists, nurses, and a complicated system working on my situation. He managed and simplified communication between the hospital staff, specialists and myself to make sure I know all of the options I have. This helped me be informed to make the tough decisions. He has been very patient, helpful and offered his office services in support of other doctors to improve timelines for diagnostic tests. I am very grateful for his care and services.

Dismissive bedside manner and rushed visits every time. Go elsewhere to find a doctor that will take concerns seriously and strive to find solutions.

Rush Job - I have never felt so unlistened to by a doctor than I have with Dr. Yon. His idea of treating you is retelling you something he read or refer you off to someone else. I've had him tell me my labs where fine to my face during an office visit twice, only to call me back later to tell me they weren't fine. I ended up having COVID and he was a horrible doctor during that process. It's very sad because I've gone to this office for almost twenty years, but when my doctor passed I got assigned to Dr. Yon along with my husband and a friend of mine. Both of them saw Dr. Yon one time and then switched to a different doctor. I gave Dr. Yon several chances, but he failed me miserably every time. I would look further for a PCP if you want a doctor that listens, explains and makes you feel like he cares

Major rush job and doesn't listen – Nov 16, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Yon?
Dr. Yon is the very best doctor that my whole family has every had. He is so kind and he actually listens to you. He does everything he can to find out what is going on with you and goes above and beyond to fix it. He even calls to check to see how you are feeling. I also have two young daughters who usually only like going to women doctors, but now won't go to anyone but Dr. Yon. Even my husband, who hates going to any doctor loves going to see Dr. Yon. DR. YON IS THE BEST DOCTOR EVER!
