Disappointing
Dr. Wood performed the INSPIRE implant surgery on me in December, 2022 I developed a major chest infection which required removal of the device, through no fault of my own. I had a hospital stay of almost a week with intensive IV therapy. This was followed by insertion of a pic line so that IV therapy would continue at home. Home therapy lasted for 3 weeks, every 6 hours around-the-clock. The home IV therapy was not covered by my insurance and has costed me almost $1,200.00. I am now retired and on a fixed income and this has been a burden financially. I brought this to Dr. Wood’s attention months ago and gave him a copy of my bill, asking to be reimbursed. He said he would speak with the INSPIRE representative and get back to me . He never did. I find this totally unacceptable and unprofessional.I would not recommend Dr. Wood or the INSPIRE product as this has been a nightmare experience.

Excellent Service
Called for an appointment and found out he was going on vacation. Sent him a email with my issue and symptoms. He got back to me the next morning with a prescription, treatment and follow-up. Very impressed.

Excellent Bedside Manner
Recently had my first appt with Dr. Wood. New to the area and got terribly ill and needed a new ENT urgently. I was hesitant finding a random doctor online in the area but was very grateful I went with this office. It was even more convenient because he has two office locations. Easy parking. Fast and pleasant front desk. Very short wait time for doctor. I have extreme anxiety about my throat and gagging but Dr. Wood was very patient, gentle and accommodating. He made me calm and talked me through each step. Very knowledgeable and gave me great tips on home care for certain issues and symptoms. Will definitely be coming back! (Well hopefully I actually won’t need to!!)

Great experience
Dr. Wood took his time and listened to my concerns. I was very impressed that other specialists were located within their suite and in addition to seeing an ENT, I was able to get a hearing test and be referred to the on-site allergist. I’ve already recommended him to a friend!
