This Doctor saved my life!
Dr. Weiss is professional, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. He found a mass in my bladder and quickly scheduled tests and surgery. I was diagnosed with rare form of aggressive cancer but treatable. I am very grateful, and appreciate the excellent care Dr. Weiss provides.

Dr. Weiss is the worst one I met
I had kidney stone disease more than 10 years. Last occur was December 2023 and I passed several stones. I had been referred to him by my family doctor In Emory. He referred me to do CT scan and sent my stone for a lab analysis. One month later of CT scan, he rejected to give any medication to resolve the granular stones, which can be seen from CT scan image. I didn't get any help from him. after 4 months later now (May 2024), i had another kidney stone pain again.I am not sure why he rejected to give any medicine to resolve the granular stone in body. but I had the medicine for this from another doctor in Emory Downtown. The Emory Health car billing system is so ridiculous: 1. First Visit billed $340.00 2. 2 minutes CT scan billed $1400.00 3. even CT scan image review billed $340.00, which should be included above item 2 4. Follow up visit to view the lab analysis result, CT image and consultation billed another $340.00total $2420 .00 get nothing for help

Never saw the good doctor
My husband had an appointment with Dr. Weiss but the appointment consisted of an interview by a nurse instead. We assumed that the doctor would meet new patients but we were told that would not be the case. We were told the appointment was with a nurse, not the doctor. If we had known that we would have cancelled the appointment. We are aware nurses typically do an intake interview but that should not constitute the entire appointment. The interviewing nurse did not seem especially concerned that she could not answer our questions. She seemed more interested in saying what she wanted to say rather than addressing our concerns.

Dr Weiss is and excellent dr in his field, however if you need to contact Dr Weiss after a procedure it is almost impossible. His office manager gives you the contact information if complications arises but she doesn’t respond. I have had two procedures in a year. Both times I called several times and no response. Ending up in the ER on both occasions. The on call dr was more responsive than Dr Weiss. If you are in need of a dr. please search for another physician.

Dr. Weiss and staff provided one of the most thorough exams I've had in decades. Not only focused on urology issues but my total health. Dr. Weiss and nurse Cindy are a knowledgeable and caring team who are professional and personal in their approach. They are both fantastic. I highly recommend them.
