After having Dr. Nilhas perform my Cholecystectomy( removed Gallbladder) 5 years ago, and recently repair of a torn Epigastric Hernia I can say with complete honesty he is absolutely the most phenomenal surgeon and Doctor ever. After the first surgery I was up and walking around the next day and went home with no need for any pain medication at all. The 2nd surgery was outpatient. I was in recovery for about 30 minutes. Went home and never needed any pain medication. I really didn't feel bad or even a little bit groggy. Other than a slight feeling of tightness around my stomach I felt great. My husband has to keep reminding me of my restriction because I forget about them, I feel so good. With Dr. Nilhas I felt totally confident and safe that my surgery was going to be the best possible. Told me up front everything to expect, pros and cons of different options, and let me make a well informed decision on what would be best for me. I would give him 10 star if I could.

Dr. Nilhas is extraordinary in every way. Over the past several years, Dr. Nilhas has performed three surgeries for a family member. He is skilled in his profession, meticulous in his follow-up. What truly sets him apart is his relationship with his patient and family members. Dr. Nilhas is patient in his explanation of options and procedures, treats everyone including his staff with the upmost respect, and takes time to put the patient and family at ease as he answers questions and reassures everyone of their decision. During our visits with other medical specialists and in conversations with hospital staff, without exception, all speak about their high regard for their fellow medical colleague, Dr. Nilhas.

Dr. Nilhas was a great choice for my procedure. He came highly recommended to me and he didn't let me down! He instilled confidence in me about the process, what to expect, what the procedure entailed and the possible outcomes. He has a very calming presence and did a great job of communicating, following up and allowing me direct access to him. Without hesitation, I would use Dr. Nilhas for any future general surgical needs.

My wife had major surgery to repair work performed 30 years ago and Dr. Nilhas did a very fine job with his medical knowledge of the human body. He truly takes care of his patients and they are his upmost concern.

I was referred to Dr Nilhas by my primary care physician and I could not be more satisfied with Dr Nilhas. He was very concerned with my well being and took excellent care of me. I hvae been under Dr Nilhas's care since late July of 2017 with with Diverticulitis having gone through a handful of surgies to get to where i am today wich is well on the road having my old life back. Dr. Nilhas was absolutely spectacular with treating my non working gallbladder. I was in a significant amount of pain and couldn't eat or drink anything, I was in really bad shape and had been for a couple weeks. He was very caring and showed a lot of compassion for my pain. His team went above and beyond to get me into testing that afternoon and surgery the very next day. My surgery went really goog, I was home healing that night. I would highly recommend Dr. Nilhas for any digestive problems.
