I was a labor patient in for delivery . Dr Bertoni put in an epidural for labor, experience went well .

Highly recommend Dr. Bertoni and Island Hospital
This young doctor is so kind, informative, caring, and makes you feel very safe going under his care. I woke up with NO pain or nausea like I normally do and I can't say how grateful I am for that! I feel really fortunate to have access to this high of quality care in my small community and I'm really glad Dr. Bertoni is still here. I've had him as my anesthesiologist twice now and each were excellent experiences from beginning to end. A lot of my other doctors have left and it's been difficult for me to transition. Thanks to everyone still at Island Hospital, our town needs you!

I do NOT recommend him. I woke up during an operation with this Dr. as my anesthesiologist and my surgeon verified that it happened. I will never allow this Dr to be my anesthesiologist again.
