Very Pleased
Dr. Hashmat has been nothing but professional and very knowledgeable. He has understood my fear of my husband Parkinson’s diagnosis and answered every question I had written down. All test were done before our appointment with Dr. Hastmat. He had reviewed the scans and documentation from our primary physician. We have had three appointments and only one appointment we had to wait for a long period of time. The clinic is clean! So far we are extremely pleased with Dr. Hastmat.

Worst bedside manner I've ever seen
Without doing a single diagnostic test, or even reviewing previous diagnostic tests. Without making a diagnosis he says I have no options. What kind of doctor says that? Never had a worse experience with a doctor. I don't know how this man still has a license.

Not a great experience
I thought Dr. Hashmat was a fine doctor until I got a better one. I don't think he did a full neuro exam nor did he ask many questions about my migraine and headache pain. He stood with his arm crossed when evaluating me and was not very kind. He told me that because of my insurance, I would not be able to get any good medicine-- which isn't exactly true. He put me on some of the oldest medications in the book-- Propranolol and Fioricet. Calling the office was a nightmare, especially when I was having adverse effects from one of the medications. Apparently, Dr. Hashmat is only at the Hamilton, MS location once a week. The facility was older and not too clean. Dr. Hashmat seemed impersonal and did not educate me on my diagnosis or talk to me about my medication. My advice: try to get a better doctor.

Worst experience!!!
Do NOT go to Dr Hashmat in Hamilton MS!!!!?????????? Bathroom is dirty, paper towel thing doesn't work, can't restock toilet paper!!! And those are the good points ?????? The receptionist has no idea what is going on - they changed my appointment- THEY called me and didn't change it in the computer!! Waited for over an hour and still never got called back. The waiting room was loud bright and not comfortable for someone with a migraine - which is why I was there in the first place!!!!!!! ?????? NO I am NOT a happy camper we wasted an hour to drive down there, sat for over an hour, and an hour back with nothing to show for it but more pain and frustration!!! Only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me give zero!!!

Spends no time with the patient. As a physician, he would cut me off when I tried to ask a question about the care of my family member and then threatened lack of documentation of progress so insurance won't pay. Rounds at the door surrounded by a "team" who don't introduce themselves. His arrogance compounds the problem. Shame on Anderson for hiring a poorly skilled neurologist when they need a qualified PM&R physician who has the clinical skills and bedside manner required by inpt rehab.

The scheduling is terrible. I went in for a consult the first of September. I went fur labs and nerve study a week later. Today is Oct 10. I have yet to see the doctor for a follow up to give me my results in my brain, lab work, or nerve study. The nurse says he's booked. Wow so I guess I will be clueless and in pain. Never again!!!! Will be going elsewhere after I get my results. Whenever that might be maybe next year!

Dr.Hashmat, I saw him for my 1st consult, big laugh, Dr Hashmat took a total of 10min giving an exam. I've had MS for 20yrs and he didn't ask one subjective question. I've been through very rough times since 11997,bed for 5yrs and a wheelchairs up to 9yrs had to learn to walk, which wasn't fun. Fell numerous times breaking bones in my feet, femur and tibi and fibula. Still have trouble walking. That's not including blurred and double vision, numbness in hands & feet. Horrible Dr! COW

He spent a total of 10 minutes with us. He questioned every medication I was prescribed by my primary physician. He never once addressed the reason I was referred there. Zero bedside manners. Sent me out the door with another migraine medicine and said I will see you in a month. Actually no you will not, I refuse to go back.
