excellent first time visit
Dr. Thakral reviewed my record before he greeted me and was very informed of my history. He did an excellent exam to determine cause of pain. He gave 3 options and made his recommendation. I agreed with his plan and proceeded with ultrasound guided injection. He explained every step along the way to make me comfortable. He was efficient and very gentle. I would definitely return for his care and recommend Dr. Thakral to others.

A pleasure to be around
The location is great, the atmosphere is wonderful, the office and medical staff are a pleasure to interact with. And most of all, and the reason I was there was to see Dr. Thakral. This was my 2nd hip injection by him and it was no more than a pinch. Dr. Thakral is on my short list of favorite doctors, along with several others from POA.

This is the second time that I had to visit with Dr. Aakash and it's such a unique experience because he has a very warm and comforting presence. He is thorough and patient. Even when feeling anxious about a procedure he has a way of making you feel calm. Not only is he knowledgeable and willing to explain exactly what he is doing and why, he is empathic and validating. I highly recommend Dr. Aakash - a skilled clinician and an overall good human.

Cranky and distant
Seemed irritable when i asked questions, told me there was nothing that could be done, and was too impatient to explain. Referred me outside the office to someone with the same specialty, which is the best i can say for him. The outside doctor was a huge help for diagnosis and treatment that Thakral couldn't be bothered with. I felt disrespected and unheard, and very discouraged until i sought care elsewhere.
