Biography: Alison Bailey, MD, earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where she also served an internal medicine residency and was chief medical resident. She pursued additional training through a postgraduate fellowship in cardiology at the University of Kentucky, where she also served as chief cardiology fellow. Prior to joining Centennial Heart at Parkridge, Dr. Bailey was associate chief of cardiology, medical director of cardiovascular ambulatory practice, and medical director of preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation at Erlanger Health System. Her rigorous training also equipped her to serve in academic capacities at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga, where she was chief of academic cardiology and program director of the cardiovascular diseases fellowship.Dr. Bailey has earned board certification in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, adult echocardiography, cardiovascular diseases, internal medicine and advanced cardiac life support. A distinguished researcher, Dr. Bailey has authored or co-authored numerous publications, books and book chapters, posters and presentations.
