Dr Moufarrege had me scheduled for surgery for pain pump on August 5, 2024. I had an unnecessary psychiatrict review with the Recovery Center on July 31 according to Medicare and my insurance. I came in the week before and talked to Dr Moufarrege. The scheduler said they would get a verbal OK from the Recovery Center after calling them. (not needed per above) I talked to Dr and he recommended a spinal cord stimulator . I told the nurse during appointment I wanted pain pump. She said that it would take longer to have a pain pump then stimulator. I called back after seeing the damage caused by stimulator and low success rate and told numerous people including nurse I wanted pain pump.I got a call today from CASE MANAGER that I had been approved for stimulator not pain pump. I told her I did not want a stimulator. She said they could refer me to another Dr. I have sen Dr Moufarrege for over 2 years and he recommended the pump already scheduled. Why should I have to go to another dr
