Lack of empathy, no communication skills
If 0 stars were possible, I’d give 0. I saw the midwives when I a first trimester miscarriage. They had no empathy, no ability to communicate clearly what was happening to me, my body, and my baby. When someone finally confirmed I had had a miscarriage, they told me it happens to 20-25% of women. The nurse said “welcome to the 25%” like I had achieved something special- not at all understanding that for me this was the loss of a family member. I also ended up getting double charged for a service. I was passed around from patient relations to the clinic to billing for a month or more. I still don’t feel it is resolved two months later. Too much bureaucracy, not enough caring.
