Very poor outcome after cataract surgery
Very poor outcome after cataract surgery performed by Dr. Singh. The surgery left me with very poor vision, pain, swelling, massive pressure problems in the eye, and corneal edema for months. The cornea in my eye was irreparably damaged, and I had to have a corneal transplant surgery, performed by a different opthalmologist in a different practice, to correct the damage. Even though the corneal transplant surgery was successful, I have permanent damage to my optical nerve and resultant reduction in visual clarity as a result of the failed cataract surgery. To add insult to injury, Dr. Singh, and some of his staff, suggested that my eye structure was the problem. In my view, no one was better placed to understand the internal structure of my eye through scans and visual examinations than Dr. Singh. So he should not have taken on my cataract surgery if he was not confident in dealing with my eye structure.
