As others have stated "Dr." Kopec deserves ZERO stars. He is unkind, unprofessional, and passive aggressively sarcastic. I am unsure why Kopec works in mental health when he has so little empathy. Red Flags I wish I hadn't ignored: 1) Don't ignore the (100% accurate) negative reviews. I ignored them because I was desperate for help and I absolutely regret it. 2) Kopec is an anti-vaxxer. I had an in-office visit in Jan 2021 and asked when I could get the covid vaccine. Kopec stated that he wasn't going to get vaccinated because he didn't believe that the studies were conclusive. 3) My final med review with Kopec lasted exactly 7 minutes where Kopec verbally shamed me for asking for anti-depressants. I have a history of depression and have taken meds for 15+ years. Kopec told me I wasn't sad enough for meds. Kopec then handed me a 30 day mood tracking journal to prove I was depressed. While scheduling my follow-up appt, Kopec told me I didn't need it, and reminded me to call to cancel.
