Squalicum Family Medicine

Every doctor I've seen over the last 10 years at Bellingham Bay Family medicine has been knowledgeable, helpful and professional (well, there was one who wasn't fabulous, but she's no longer there). Almost all the nurses, medical assistants, etc. that I've dealt with have been sensitive, knowledgeable and professional. But the receptionists seem to not understand that they are in the field of medicine. The receptionist I dealt with today should be in some office where the results are not time sensitive. Four calls over five hours for a refill for my wife who is seriously ill, for my wife who has been in to see three very good doctors in the last six weeks and is still very ill and needs her medicine, and the receptionist just repeated the same bland phrases no matter my explanation and pleading. I understand procedures, but in medical care, time does matter.
