I've now had two root canals at Manassas Endodontics in the past year, each done with a different dentist at this practice (the second was an emergency and the first guy wasn't available). The term 'root canal' conjures up expectations of a miserable, painful experience, but that was not my experience either time. Each root canal requires two procedures over two visits, so that's four times I've had them poking around in my mouth (for 20-40 minutes each time). Honestly, with the exception of the trivial needle pricks for the anesthetic shots, there was no pain at all. I had less discomfort getting 2 root canals than I typically have during 1 filling (at my usual dentist, not here). If you need an endodontist, you can't go wrong with Manassas Endodontics.

Dr Detar finished my second rootcanal, he is an excellent Endodontist !

This practice is amazing. Their front staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Their assistants are professional and Dr Detar was very thorough and figured out my issue and sent me to a surgical doctor. A lot of people are afraid of going for dental work but this practice made me feel at ease. Highly recommend this office.

I have been a patient at Manassas Endodontics for about 25 years. This is a very special practice. The Dr.’s and the staff are always so helpful and kind. I am currently a patient of Dr. Detar and he is an excellent Endodontist. Dr. Detar always explains the procedure to me and makes sure during the procedure I am doing okay. His assistants are very knowledgeable and helpful during the procedures also. I have always felt the Dr.’s and staff in this practice really care about their patients and that is why I would highly recommend them.

I get very anxious when I need any type of dental work done. I was out at ease and everything was explained to me to help ease my anxiety. Dr. Chang determined what the problem was and addressed it and I didn’t even need a root canal. I’m very happy with the service I received. The entire staff was patient and took their time to explain things to me from billing to the MRI to payment. It was a very positive experience.

The office stands out in every way. I had severe pain and they were able to work me in immediately, over their lunch hour. Dr. Detar explained the procedure and provided the medical care I needed with a follow up appointment a couple of weeks later. The pain and all the concerns I had were gone. Thanks Dr. Detar, you and your staff are outstanding.

Dr. Detar's office staff is excellent. Understanding my painful situation, they scheduled my visit as soon as possible. Prior to my dental work, they dealt with our insurance provider and were able to sort out exactly how much the provider would pay and how much we would pay. There were no billing surprises. I found Dr. Detar to be understanding, gentle and patient. He was professional and up to speed on the latest procedures and materials. I especially appreciated his willingness to slow down and make sure I was as comfortable as possible. He took the time to explain procedures and answer my questions and concerns. I found the practice to be professional, compassionate and top flight in every aspect. Well done Manassas Endodontics...and thank you!
