So frustrating.
I’ve had Crohn’s for 20 years and have never had poor care like this. First, you don’t ever meet the doctor, doctor only does procedures is what they told me. Also they’ve made me late on my infusion a few times due to negligence. Missing lab work that i did through Labcorp same day as my appointment, not sending orders until the day before my scheduled infusion (so my insurance referral wasn’t ready in time) and almost this last time as i had called in February about switching to home infusions i was told they would do the paperwork for it without an appointment. I called them a month out and they said paperwork is done. Then a few weeks later at my appointment they told me i need to do bloodwork and have the results before they’d put in the orders for my infusion. Including a stool sample (which I’ve had Crohn’s for 20 years and have never had to do) a WEEK and a half before I’m due for my infusion. Bloodwork that can take 5 days to process.
