Billing Department is Rude
I had been a patient at Renewal Dermatology for over 10 years, and recently their service has significantly declined. I had to contact my doctor to check on my prior authorization and then call my insurance to make sure it was processed. The insurance said that Renewal Dermatology could just re-bill the claim as everything was in the system. However, when I contacted Renewal Dermatology, Kim (who said she has 35 years working in billing) said she would not re-bill the claim despite me telling her that I had previously spoken to my insurance and they said to do so. Kim, Renewal Dermatology's expert at billing refused to process a bill or work with the patient.
