MUCH worse than no help
One therapist literally never asked about what brought me there, gave me tons of 'homework' to fill out, and then I got in trouble because she dropped me as a client. The reason she gave was *I* wasn't coming up with topics during the therapy. I had similar problems with their other therapists. They tried repeatedly to prescribe me deadly medication. Every therapist at different Helen Farabee locations failed to diagnose me correctly, and I received 4 or 5 different diagnoses, which had nothing to do with each other and my symptoms didn't change.I feel sorry for the prisoners, who are forced to go to these places because prisons won't pay for anything useful like real therapy. No one with a choice should go to these facilities. No one should go, period.
