On Tuesday, April 13, 2021, Dr. Bernard A. Milstein referred me to Dr. John L. Alappatt "from the best to the best" after I experienced a detached retina that required emergency surgery. Dr. Alappatt scheduled the next day at Memorial Hermann Surgical Center-Southwest (MHSCS). The experience was very hospitable from reception and throughout every phase of my care and administered with the focus on the patient. I am over the moon about seeing clearly for the first time in years and applaud Dr. Alappatt’s compassion, conscientiousness, creativity, courage, efficiency, leadership, perseverance, professionalism, skills, stamina, support, and trust, and special gift for creating a relaxing atmosphere for his patients during a very anxious and serious moment in their lives! The docket of patients at HRA and MHSCS did not diminish the personal attention and care I received. Dr. Alappatt is honest and has positive and proven results and I highly recommend him! He saved my life and sight!
