I have been a faithful patient of this practice since the time Dr. Anderson owned it, and over the years, I have spent more than $14,000 on dental care, including cosmetic procedures, orthodontics, and oral surgery. Because of this longstanding relationship, it feels especially betraying that the current office would take actions to damage my credit score over what is, comparatively, a minuscule amount. In September 2022, I had a routine checkup with X-rays and a non-urgent cavity filling. Before leaving the office on both occasions, I asked if I owed anything and was told, 'no.' Over a year later, I received an invoice for $434.96, with no prior communication about an outstanding balance. After I refused to pay due to the delay in billing, the office threatened to send my account to collections. This could have easily been avoided with a verification of insurance for the procedure.
