Westlakes Family Dental

Westlake's Family Dental overcharged me for services and refuses to refund my $150 overpayment. I had dental procedures performed for myself and my daughter in March/April and May of 2022. The office overcharged me according to my explanation of benefits (EOB), when I inquired further, representative Ana stated that the company failed to bill me correctly for a procedure in 2019 and that they fired staff as a result of the billing inequities and that since my bill from 2019 was incorrect I owed them money and they refuse to refund my overpayment from 2022. The issues admitted by Westlake's Family Dental confirms that it was their billing error and they have failed to provide proof of any billing error from 2019. I believe that it is unethical for the company to penalize me 3 years later for a mistake made by their staff with my current overpayment. I have been a patient of this office since 2014 have always paid my bills that were due. I was never timely notified of any billing error
