Vitalogy Skincare

Made appointment for my son to renew prescriptions ONLY which is supposed to be minimal charge at any doctor’s office, but Vitalogy charged us a 3rd level appointment out of 4 levels for 5 minutes of the doctor’s time. I explained while making the appt. we were not on insurance for couple of months and would be self pay. The staff made me feel comfortable making the appt. initially, suggesting a prescription refills appt. Then, when I questioned, the nurse said charges were upgraded because we asked about a second prescription my son had on file. She also argued that it was a 10 minute appointment when I said we should have been warned when I made the appt. that we would be charged by the number of prescriptions we refilled. I have NEVER experienced this at any clinic, and the appointment was in fact 5 minutes quite literally documented by iphone call from the time the doctor stepped in to the time she stepped out. We like our doctor, but hate the chain! Paid more than double expected.
