LOVE seeing Dr. Guerrero!
Dr. Guerrero goes over all my lab work. He also asks for my input… What I think might be pertinent to getting better results. I never feel that he’s rushed to get to the next patient. It’s like I’m his only patient!

Great practice!
This is my first endocrinology doctor and let me just say-Dr. Bilbatua is amazing and awesomely great at her job! I definitely recommend her if you’re needing this type of specialist. She gives you all the information you need and helps you really understand diabetes! Also gives you options on treatments and medications that can work better for you.

Nice visit.
I would have liked for the waiting time to be a bit more quicker to see the doctor, however, when I did finally see Dr. Khowaja, he was very courteous and kind and seemed genuinely concerned about my overall health.

Disrespectful, Inappropriate Provider
I am an RN and caregiver for my mother. As reported to the Texas Medical Board, Dr. Arthur Guerrero is a self-righteous, condescending, inappropriate, and disrespectful Endocrinologist. In my history as a caregiver and a medical professional, I have never been treated this way by a doctor. I did not expect this behavior from this provider and am at the utmost level of disappointment. On the initial appointment he mislead us as he appeared to be thorough and reassuring. I thought we had found an amazing provider, who values my mother's care. The follow-up appointment showed us the complete opposite of professionalism and demonstrated a complete lack of compassion.Upon providing his conclusions, without explanation on WHY certain findings no longer warranted follow-up, he became frustrated with my questions. I remained polite as I explained my concerns and he grew more frustrated and then he stated, '...Now I'm agitated...'

Office Staff is horrible
Dr. Ameer Khowaja is amazing! However, the staff is incompetent, rude and absolutely unprofessional. Diabetic going without medication because their staff does not care and sends in wrong prescriptions. Takes days to get responses and correct information sent. Would NEVER recommend this facility as long as Melany and her staff are there, need a complete overhaul.

Great doctor and staff
Due to the weather change our appointment was changed and made the visit much easier for us so we didn’t have to drive to the office. Ruby was great when she called to get all of the triage information. Great doctor and staff.

Very Attentive
Doctor Akright retired so I started seeing the new doctor, Martha Bilbatua. She's patient, attentive, knowledgeable, reassuring, helpful, listens to my concerns, doesn't rush you, and doesn't leave you waiting to be seen. I know she's my new doctor but I feel we are a great fit for each other. I see her for my Thyroid condition. (Hypothyroidism) with a family history of Diabetes. I know she will keep me in check so I don't become diabetic.

Horrible Changes
This practice has chamged SO much I really don't know what good I can say. Extremely rude/dismissive front desk staff. The worst perfume diffusers used in the waiting room was so strong it was nauseating. Patients complained the staff ignored them. Sad really they use to be a great Dr's office. My Dr retired but I was willing to stay with the practice, I will not be returning.Odd part is my previous Dr. educated me on endocrine distrupters being something I should avoid, strong chemical odors and scents can 100% be endocrine distrupters and shouldn't be used in an Endocrinology practice.

Not the same
Since the practice moved offices, everything has changed. I got moved to another provider, even though I’d been seeing Dr Akright for 10 years. I didn’t recognize anyone in the new office from the staff in Schertz. And they bombard me with emails, texts, and phone calls. If they ever have anything important to convey I’ll probably ignore it due to the number of repetitive correspondence. They send numerous emails and texts to check in; I checked in; then they called to ask me how I checked in.

Policy over patient
My father passed and missed my annual appointment by a few months. I had been a patient for 10 years approximately. When I realized I missed, I made an appointment and had to wait 8 months. I found I was switched to a new dr because I was now a new patient per the practice policy on the day of my appointment. Dr Guerrero refused to see me because I do not need a high level of care as I once did when he first joined this practice. I had half my thyroid removed. Continuity of care for a person does not matter to this Dr and practice.
