Very expensive
I recently had a basal cell carcinoma removed at Vitalogy Georgetown. My final bill was $911. I am self pay. My sister had the same procedure at a different dermatologist in Austin at about the same time and her bill was $525. She is also self pay. I called Vitalogy's billing department and they could not explain to me why my bill was nearly double my sister's. The excision cost $311 for me and $170 for her. The stitches cost me $512 and cost her $280. Lab costs for me were $88, for her was $75. I've been going there for 8 years and I like Dr. Cabrera, but I won't be back. If I can save $400 by driving an hour south, I'll do it.
