Dr. Lara was amazing when I saw her, she was attentive, patient, kind, and an example of what medical providers should be. I tried to email this but could not find where to submit. I made an appointment, waited two months for that appointment as the 'first available' because I truly appreciate Dr. Lara. I was told when I made it that if there were any issues with my insurance they would let me know that day but if I did not hear from them all was good. Then, on the day of the appointment, hours away from when I was meant to be seen I got a call saying not to come because they did not accept my insurance. Now I am stuck waiting ANOTHER two months for an available appointment at another provider's office. I understand things happen but I am in a place of needing to be seen and feel like this situation is not okay, if you tell a person you will check something and call back if necessary, please do that. It would have saved me four months of waiting.
