I am very disappointed with cooks children’s. I took my son there for digestive issues and saw Dr. Cantu. Who ended up being more of a pharmaceutical rep than an actual doctor. The hospital loves pushing expensive testing. But when it comes to getting copies of your results they make you jump through hoops. “Oh… You actually want to see a copy of your test results? HahaHa well good luck with that!” You will need to call a telephone number then you will be redirected to fill out a form then have to mail it, fax it, or walk it in, to MAYBE actually get a copy of your test results that you paid thousands of dollars for. And you won’t be able to reach anyone on the phone so don’t even bother. You can only use their little patient portal to speak with a nurse and they MIGHT send your message onto the doctor if it is deemed worthy. What happened to real medicine? Caring for patients, spending time and listening, and discovering the root cause of the health issues?
