Prior to my appointment I called to make sure the doctor was in my insurance network. I was assured she was. After my visit I received a bill for the visit, the reason being- out of network. After multiple attempts at getting in touch with the office, I left a review on Google to which the office almost immediately responded, asking me to reach out to them. Again, multiple attempts in various way, no response. Today I received notice that the bill is going to collections. I absolutely do not recommend. Using your insurance that you pay for should to be this difficult, nor getting answers from an office providing a service for which there are plenty of other providers to choose from. I pay for my out of network dentist happily, as they are wonderful and do great work. This office, had they been up front, could have been the same. Communicate honestly with your patients, you will be respected for that. Instead, shady practices lead to poor reviews and BBB filings.

Dr. Eckhart took his time to make my grandmother feel comfortable and answered every question she had personally prior to her cataract surgery. After surgery was completed, she says she is seeing like she was 20 years old again!

After a referral from her GP, we arrived at 8:35am for my wife’s 9am first appointment for potential cataract surgery. We were informed that the appointment was actually at 10:00am. We returned the six pages or so of paperwork at 9:45. By then the waiting room looked like DFW on a holiday weekend with flight cancellations. No social distancing at all. At 10:45, I inquired about her appointment, since numerous late arrivals had all ready been seen. They informed me her appointment was at 11:00am. I don’t know exactly where the problem lies in their system, whether it’s due to inefficiency or incompetence. Regardless, eyesight is not something worth the risk. I cancelled the appointment.
