Practice

This was my first visit to a Texas Health Family Care facility and it was a disaster. The doctor seemed well reviewed - I wish I would have had an opportunity to meet with him. Instead, the intake nurse was rude, called me a liar, asked how I wanted to manipulate my medicals records (why she couldn't just use facts is beyond me), was unwilling to accept the medical records I brought with me, and made no attempt to listen to the reason for my visit. I repeated myself three times as to the reason for my visit - she kept trying to sell me on other services instead. I have been treated as a 'number' by the cable company, airlines, and for government services but this was the first experience in my life where someone who is supposed to be a medical professional made no attempt at trying to understand the purpose of my visit. She was dangerous, had her own agenda, could have cared less about patient support, and was not someone I felt comfortable trusting with my medical care.
