I remember seeing Jamesia Harris, NP several years ago for depression. I was very sad, and tearful. She prescribed me a medication and wanted me to come back in a month. When I came back from my follow-up I was starting to feel a little better and was starting to become hopeful. I told her this, she stepped out of the room for something and she thought she shut the door to the room, but didn't. One of the nurses asked about me and she started talking bad about me and laughing. She realized the door was open and she swiftly popped her head in and insisted she was talking about someone else. Anyway, this was years ago, I bring it up now because I am still not over her unprofessionalism, and it has affected me trying to build trust with other providers. I think about my brief experience there often. I never forget how people treat people or how they made me feel. She is a sorry excuse for a provider.
