Dr Chiles made me get x-rays when a current CT scan was provided, unnecessary radiation and expense. 2 stones noted that would be busted up with surgery. On day of surgery, after more x-rays, he said I had 1 stone and 1 cyst but it was later confirmed with his office and another doctor I see, who actually alerted me to the stones, that I did in fact have 2 stones, cysts don't show up on x-rays. This guy lied to me right before I was headed back to surgery. Recovery was miserable (was not prepared for what it would actually be like) and it was impossible to get someone on the phone. Developed an infection and they would not give me meds without a trip to the office to give them a specimen so I took a script I already had at home (which cleared up the infection) until I could get to the office. It's like they only know how to do things one way and don't consider that different patients have different needs. Finally, I was billed an additional $1375 than I was told it would cost.
