I had to change doctors because of insurance. They set me and my husband up with Dr. Weaver. He was okay the first couple of visits, but I thought they did a lot of lab work. Went for a physical. He was aware that I had been taking blood pressure meds and antidepressants for years, so I assumed that anything that needed to be checked was done during the physical. My vitamin D level was low, so that had to be rechecked. I didn't need refills on my meds right then, so he said just call and let them know when I needed refills. When I went back last week for the vit. D check, I told the nurse I needed a refill on one of my blood pressure meds. Nothing was done, no phone calls. I called and left a message, no response. Called again the next morning, talked to the receptionist. (She's the only one who will answer). Called again that afternoon, was told I needed to come in again before they'd refill my meds. At this point I was already out of one med. There is nothing compassionate here.
