I would not recommend this place if it was the last source of help on the planet. Do NOT send your loved ones here. Dr. Jennie Mahaffey will NOT return your calls to discuss concerns of risks or what type of medications being prescribe even if you have explicit POA of your loved one. My loved one has Dementia and meds for this disease can be risky. My loved one fell in their care while being heavily medicated. They had no idea how long she laid there. Walker was pushed in the corner where she could not reach it (nurse told me this). Was not allowed access to her before or after fall. Doctor would not return calls. Was told by social worker she BELONGED to Erlanger Behavioral health and could not be transferred to another facility unless Doctor signed off. My loved one was sent home with half the clothes sent with her. She was wearing clothes that did not belong to her and Soiled pants (not hers) and soiled depends was stuffed in her walker bag. They should be ashamed of themselves.
