My experience with Waring Vision Institute was fantastic. The cataract surgery was painless and gave me better than 20/20 vision. Not only is everything brighter and more colorful but I don't need reading glasses anymore. The whole team was excellent.

Dr. Waring was thorough in explaining choices related to my cataract surgery. His expertise and approach made it easy to trust his recommendations and I have been very pleased with the results. And he delivered exactly that, with great clarity in each eye within 24 hours of each surgery. And now, after over 50 years of wearing prescription glasses, they are put away, forever, and it appears likely that no “readers” will be required. All exactly as Dr Waring had forecast. In addition, his team is truly impressive from start to finish, from A to Z, operating with a high level of protocol and proficiency. After consultation with the lowcountry's most notable eye surgeons, I am convined that there are NONE better than the doctors and staff of Waring Vision Institute! My experience involved being TOTALLY blind in my right eye with a VERY dense cataract. I wasn't offered much hope for sight recovery by leading specialists. However, Dr. George Waring of WVI was willing to take up the challenge. I am thankful that he didn't allow the almost impossible feat to deter him. He broke down the complicated and made it simple for this lay-person to understand. He offered hope and brought his skills to back up that hope. His supporting cast are as key to my success as he was. They are caring and sensitive to their patients is my experience. Bottom line: my sight is RESTORED!
