I spoke to Lilliana, the appointment scheduler, and told her that I want to schedule an appointment with a doctor board-certified in Sleep Medicine. She said Dr. Fuller "can" do the appointment and scheduled my appointment with him despite my repeated requests for the above specialty. I asked her whether Dr. Fuller is board certified in Sleep Medicine, and she claimed she did not know. I asked to speak to the office manager, but instead of transferring me, Lilliana hung up. South Carolina's board-certification website shows that Dr. Fuller is NOT board certified in Sleep Medicine. How is it that an appointment scheduler does not know nor can look up whether the doctor she is scheduling for is board-certified in Sleep Medicine? Why didn't Lilliana schedule my appointment with a physician she knew was board-certified in Sleep Medicine? It seems to me Lilliana purposely tried to obfuscate Dr. Fuller's credentials to have me see who she wanted me to see.
