I was a client here for about 30 years. They used to offer different groups and programs, but since Lifespan took over it all went downhill. Clinicians don't respect the clients. They refer to themselves as 'glorified babysitters' and complain that all clients do is sleep. My diagnosis was withheld from me by clinicians. I only found out because it was on my paperwork when I was discharged when I moved. Imagine thinking someone cares and finding out they have been lying to you about something major for years. They look down their noses at you. You're nothing but an obstacle for them to get through so they can get paid. They expect you to be super sensitive about their background and culture, but they don't try to understand yours. The last straw was when I was told that I wasn't disabled enough to warrant weekly visits because I'm not homeless or a junkie. Oh, and they all cover for each other and lie for each other so good luck trying to complain.
