Appointment never scheduled

Went for a visit with their physician two years ago and upon completion of the visit doctor I was asked to make a follow up appointment for the following year. When I approached the receptionist I was told that they don’t make appointments that far in advance and that they will call me to schedule the follow up the following year. It’s been two years now and still no appointment has been scheduled. The receptionist was quite rude about it also.
