The absolute worst experience. I went to the office on 0819 since I had dry eye and high pressure in the eyes. When I went back to the technician for her to start the exams, as soon as she started the tests, she said that I needed cataract surgery and they had an opening on Wednesday if I wanted it. WHAT I then had my eyes dilated and checked for glaucoma. Once I went in to see the doctor, Dr Yee said that I had a retinal bleed and I must have high blood pressure. She said that I will need surgery to release the pressure and to find out where the bleeding was coming from. Also I needed more testing for glaucoma. She asked me who my doctor was and when I told her, she said that is not the name on your chart. She took me out front to have the receptionist fix my chart and she left. She was not available for any questions and I had no clue what my treatment was or would be. Thank God, I went for a second opinion and was told I had an eye stroke branch retinal vein occlusion and

I went to the York office at 1600 6th Ave. I really could not have disliked this practice more. The office is located in a former school. I'm wondering whether the school was closed due to a mold issue because the doctor's office smell like dirty, dank basement covered up with the cans of Febreeze in the exam rooms. No medical office should be spraying fragrances in their offices. The common areas of the building smell like a factory. I came home with the stench of this building on my clothes, purse and hair and had to shower and wash my clothes to get the stink out. The restroom did not have any paper towels. Dr. Yee has the staff do 99% of the visit (I was there 2 1/4 hours) and then pops in for a 2 minute exam. I told her I was having eye issues and had a list of questions and she tried to rush out of the room without discussing anything with me. Everything I wrote on my intake form was ignored. Dr. Yee is only interested in making money from cataract surgery.
