Disappointment
My recent ordeal with Holland Medical Office was a saga of frustration, showcasing a glaring disconnect within their team and an apparent lack of empathy for patients. The saga began over the weekend when I felt terribly sick. Upon calling for an appointment, I was met with a somewhat helpful suggestion from the staff to take ibuprofen and use heating pads, which was a nice gesture at the time. However, the subsequent events drastically changed my perspective.As instructed, I called back on Monday morning, and the front desk asked about my symptoms, then insisted I take a COVID test before they would consider seeing me, citing that it was mandatory for an in-person visit. After undergoing the test—which was negative—I called back to confirm my same-day appointment, only to be blindsided shortly before the scheduled time. I received a call from someone named Kristin, who, despite my negative COVID test result, told me not to come in due to my symptoms, invoking 'office protocol' and
