Had cataracts but I am blind in one eye. They scheduled surgery for both eyes. Now I see more light in the periphery in blind eye and it is very distracting and gives me headaches. I wondered why I should have it done, but they said it could help, and I trusted the Dr.. When I brought up the headaches in follow up visits, they ignored me. I now have to wear a patch to curb the headaches. The good eye improved a lot, but something caused hemorrhaging in that eye a month after surgery. I don't know if this is related to the cataract surgery or not. tried to send me to a specialist 100 miles away, when there was one in the same building who took my insurance. The specialist also stated he had no idea why they would have done the cataract surgery on a blind eye. The surgeries were quick and painless, but it seemed like an assembly line at the surgery center. Overall, disappointed that my concerns were ignored, and unneeded procedure was done.
