Beware!
Doctor sent labwork to the lab without my knowledge or consent. We are self-pay, so the office protocol - according to the office manager - is to discuss with patient first. This wasn't done, and we have been sent a $400 bill. I have emails from the office manager stating that it was their fault and that we shouldn't have to pay. LabCorp requires their office to call. It has been over 5 months, and the office will not call LabCorp to reconcile or return our phone calls. It's been sent to collections, and we are trying to fight it but without their cooperation it is very difficult. The doctor was great but definitely not worth the hassle.

Negligent, caused more damage!
I saw Dr. Pongia at Limerick office for my toe pain on 8/11. An X-Ray was done which showed no fractures on the bones. Without ordering any MRI and determining the cause of the pain, he gave me a cortisone shot. That shot eased the pain for only 4 weeks. I saw another podiatrist who ordered MRI, the results came back showing a plantar plate tear which caused the pain on my toe. The tear must have gotten worse over the months as I didn't know there was a tear back in August and I was going around my daily routine as usual. Now it will take even more time to heal. If Dr. Pongia had ordered MRI and diagnosed correctly (he should not have given me the shot), the tear would have been smaller and easier to heal back then. He was obviously taking the easy approach that had caused even more damage to the tear. He is negligent and incompetent. This is an honest review. He deserves a zero star.
