Communication
Dr McCleod performed a TURPs procedure on 17 March. The procedure was fine but the followup was dismal. I was told nothing about the catheter removal and used the internet for guidance. On dismissal from the hospital I was given a list of medications but but no guidance whether to start taking them before or after I pulled the catheter and no idea where I was supposed to fill the prescription. I bled constantly through the catheter and the handout said to contact the doctor immediately and yet the nurse told me I could continue bleeding for two months.
