Northwell Health Physician Partners Gastroenterology at Phelps

Have seen Dr. Byfield for years and have always had a very good experience until this past Dec. My issue is not with Dr. Byfield has he has always been been very professional and kind. My horrible experience began in Oct 2021. I was charged 45.00 twice for my co payment. After at least 10 calls and 6 months later and at their request provided them with a copy of my credit card statement to confirm double charge still have not been refunded. Finally had to file a claim with Credit card co. My experience has been that the office manager and others didn’t value my business and didn’t care to do the right thing and correct their mistake. Finally received credit from my Credit card co. Now, second part to this… they billed my insurance company for my procedure as a diagnostic verses preventative incorrectly. This has caused a difference of thousand of dollars out of my pocket because of their mistake and I can’t even get a call back from them. Stay away! Incompetent employees!
