I would NOT recommend URMC, or this facility. First, Bldg. D is a maze, and no one was at the information desk. A simple old school listing of doctors, and their location in the building on a placard, front and center, would have saved me from going to 4 different offices. Finally, an employee overheard me talking to my husband about leaving negative feedback and was nice enough to help. (I ran into a similar problem with the Neurology Department and was late for my appointment). In both cases, I saw specialists who were not the least bit helpful in achieving any resolution. I am tired of being passed from one doctor to another. I am tired of being a treated like a learning lab for interns and very young doctors, unless they prove to be capable. I certainly did not need to ask my husband to take off work to be advised to take over the counter products and call if I needed a referral for PT. I also regret providing my own X-Rays, cash out of pocket.
