NYU Langone Diabetes & Endocrine Associates

Two things stand out: 1) On my recent visit the doctor asked if we had met before, which is a bit off-putting since we had met before and the doctor had prescribed medication on the previous visit. The doctor seemed to be under the impression they put me on a different medication. I corrected them, but it was disturbing and makes me wonder what type of care I am getting. The provider clearly had not even glanced at my file before walking into the exam room. 2) They are completely unresponsive in the chat. I have never had them answer a message without repeatedly sending multiple messages. At the moment, I've had to reach out three times and still don't have an answer. I started seeing a provider at NYU Langone after moving to NY. I certainly didn't have this type of experience at my last provider. They always appeared to know my file before seeing me and they never took longer than one business day to answer a message. I never had to pose the same question multiple times.
