Northern Westchester Hospital

My adult daughter was admitted there after we spent 8 hrs. In the ER.The nurses are rude and that’s when you can get them away from congregating around the pods and hallways. They then including the PA and some not all of the physicians tell you what to do. When we got to the room my daughter was told to hand over her belongings to put in a bag which was fine except for the tone of voice they use and that they took her small purse she had her wallet, phone, gum, and a foldable hair brush in out of the room to search it. Bringing it back and not telling us the nurse put it behind some stuff on her side table. I left and my husband called her on her phone otherwise she wouldn’t have found it. She needed to take her med. dose for her MS which she had missed because of spending the day in the ER. The nurse said she’d be back after she got the order in. Four hours later she received her meds. My husband and I decided to take her to another hospital for surgery after hearing from others.
