Divergent Minds

I am 62 years old with a lot of anxiety. I went to Jennifer McKenna for about a year. She was very helpful and knowledgeable ~ however, because of my anxiety I was reluctant to try all the different medications. I told her social worker I needed to speak with my doctor because I was confused. I saw Jennifer every 2-3 months ~ my doctor in the interim prescribe my 2 prescriptions that I was comfortable with ~ in order for me to collect my thoughts comfortably but told me I needed to see Jennifer ~ it had only been 2 months since I had seen her and when I went to make an appointment ~ she was very snippy with me and seemed annoyed that I also needed extra advice from my dr. She told me my file was closed and she could not see me. When someone is in need and a professional turns you down ~ it’s very unprofessional ~ I was very disappointed with her at this point. I thought she was more kind, caring and understanding! This is one of the examples of why we have a mental health crisis!

Jenn McKenna is an excellent mental health provider. I would highly recommend her.
