People who works on the front desk don't care about the patients.

I am an RN and a health care proxy for an elderly friend of mine. I accompanied my friend to an appointment he was supposed to have had yesterday at Vanguard's Ocean Avenue location.To make a long story short, with the exception of Stephanie who was nothing but pleasant, I find the office staff, specifically the young man at the front desk whose name would not be provided to me and a supervisor who identified herself as “Aaliyah”, to be exceptionally rude, unprofessional and incompetent.I merely suggested that some patience be exercised with my elderly friend (their 91yr old patient), because the young man at the front desk was upset that he got the dates wrong for his follow-up appointment, and in return I was called “old” and told to “shut up”.
