It appears this office requires most new patients to have a deep cleaning whether needed or not. My perio numbers were mostly 2 and 3's with a 4 in the corner. I was going to be out of town for an extended period of time helpnig my elderly mother so I went ahead despite my doubts. The hygienist who did the deep clean commented that my gums were not that bad which made me very suspicious. We moved from out of state and have been getting cleanings every six months. I took my mother to her dentist when I was in town and she said that based on the perio numbers and getting regular cleanings I did not need a deep clean. As I was out of town helping my mother, I had to reschedule the 'periodontal maintenance cleaning', I was scolded by one of the front desk staff for not keeping the original appointment. Unbelievable.I had a serious health oral health issue several years ago and Northern Edge did not give me a comprehensive exam. I do not recommend this practice.

My 75 year old Mom went there for tooth ache due to a loose tooth and turned out to be with infection. The tooth extraction did not happen because my Mom did not want to pay a high co-pay but they were supposed to send a prescription to her pharmacy. Long story short, she never got the prescription, and since it was on a Friday afternoon, we could not contact anybody. They don’t have after hours, urgent phone to contact so my mom sufferred over the weekend. They don’t care about their patients. They just want to collect money.

Dr Yves Pham is simply money hungry. She refused to provide me w/ a standard cleaning that my insurance would pay for. I was scheduled for a regular cleaning; they did x-rays again, Dr Pham evaluated the x-rays and inspected my teeth & then left. She had office personnel come in to tell me that I wouldn't get a cleaning because it does nothing to prevent further Peridontal damage to my gums & teeth. She wouldn't clean my teeth unless I paid over $1000 for a Periodontal Scaling & Root Planing first. I should have a choice from a professional. I'm not yet able to pay out over a grand just to have clean teeth.
