I was just turned away from an appt for my son at this disgusting excuse for an ophthalmologist’s office because the office assistant they sent out to “screen” us took it upon herself to diagnose my son (who is 1 year old, and in daycare) with an affirmative cold. He exhibited no signs of coughing, sneezing, hacking, or leaking of fluids from any visible cavities. All she needed to hear was that he may have a cold (mind you - it is fall, it is NJ, and he is in daycare). The office refused to see us and suggested we book another appointment. We waited 3 MONTHS for this appointment! They did not have the common sense to verify whether he was sick, literally not even seeing him to check if he had a fever, cough, or any other VERIFIED symptoms of being ill. Not to mention, doctors have a duty of care to their patients. My son could have been going blind and needed to be immediately seen and diagnosed. They did not give one ounce of care. Also - the Dr. “Does not deal with these issues”
